A 87-year-old person, identified through the Kern County Coroner’s Office, passed away following a collision in late January. According to local authorities, this man from Taft met his demise after his vehicle collided with another at the junction of Taft Highway and Buena Vista Road on January 31.
The accident transpired at precisely 12:29 p.m. Subsequently, this elderly individual was taken to Kern Medical for treatment. However, he did not survive and passed away on the same day. The official cause of the death, as determined by investigators, was classified as an accident.
