Fatal Birmingham shooting death of Corey Lavel Tremble
The tragic and fatal shooting incident in Birmingham has claimed the life of 38-year-old Corey Lavel Tremble. He was found deceased this morning, according to the authorities.
Emergency services were dispatched shortly before daybreak to the West Precinct’s jurisdiction, responding to a disturbance report in the 700 block of 17th Street. Upon arrival, officers assessed that the individual was no longer alive, bearing fatal wounds.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel confirmed the death on the scene at approximately 3:37 a.m.
Investigations indicate that a member of the public stumbled upon the situation and promptly notified emergency operators. At this time, police have refrained from disclosing additional details regarding the fatal shooting, and the matter remains unsolved without a suspect identified.
This unfortunate event is not isolated, as the city of Birmingham has unfortunately seen another homicide within a short timeframe, pushing the overall death toll for the year to 42. Jefferson County, wider area, has also reported 66 fatal shootings this year.
