Fatal Palm Beach County shooting death of Cynthia Seith
A 54-year-old woman identified as Cynthia Seith passed away due to injuries sustained from gunfire in Palm Beach County. Her demise occurred shortly before her 55th birthday.
Cynthia Seith was found outside a residential complex called Lucerne Greens Condominiums during the early hours of Tuesday morning. According to reports, she was discovered with bullet wounds.
Law enforcement agencies, specifically the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, are investigating the incident. Investigators have linked her ex-spouse, Richard Seith, to the event. He is considered the main person of interest.
Earlier on Friday, authorities with the assistance of the PBSO Tactical Team, U.S. Marshals, and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office located and apprehended Richard Seith. The suspect was taken into custody in Martin County.
Upon being brought into custody, Seith was transferred back to Palm Beach County for interviews with detectives. He is expected to face a serious criminal accusation, including first-degree murder charges. His initial court appearance is set to take place the following day.
