Fatal Jacksonville shooting death of De’Andre Gooden
Jacksonville authorities are actively seeking the individual responsible for a shooting that occurred at Dupree Park on Thursday afternoon. The incident took place around 6:32 p.m. near the playground located at 1700 South Redmond Road.
While responding to the scene, police officers encountered a black vehicle involved in a crash at the intersection of West Main Street and T.P. White Drive. Investigation confirmed that the driver of this vehicle had been shot during the initial shooting at Dupree Park. The injured individual, identified as De’Andre Gooden, was taken to a regional medical facility but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.
