Carrollton law enforcement disclosed the occurrence at midday on Friday. The incident transpired on Magnolia Street. The location was specified as the 100 block of that thoroughfare.
Officials from the Carrollton Police Department identified the deceased as Tyrone Boykin, a 46-year-old man. The victim’s identity was confirmed through official channels.
The body was located in the backyard of a neighboring property. He had been wounded in the chest by gunfire and was transported to a medical facility. Regrettably, he did not survive and passed away there.
According to police reports, a shootout occurred between Tyrone Boykin and the suspects. This exchange was uncovered after interviewing people who were present at the scene.
The three individuals involved were identified as Kimauri Farmer, who is 18, Joshawia Davis, aged 17, and a 15-year-old juvenile whose name was not released. All three are being prosecuted for murder.
