Toronto police have confirmed the identity of the man killed in a Tuesday morning shooting in the city’s west end. The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Ikeba Fraser, a local resident.

Emergency responders were dispatched to a location near Davenport Road and Osler Street after receiving reports of gunfire occurring shortly before dawn. Upon arrival, officers discovered an individual suffering from multiple gunshot injuries. Despite their attempts to provide medical assistance, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene, as per police communications issued Wednesday.
