Law enforcement officials announced the capture of a man, previously accused of his wife’s murder in North Carolina, nearly 100 miles south in South Carolina on Thursday.
David Snow, a 61-year-old man, is the subject of the accusation concerning the death of Lynda Nuebeck, a 68-year-old woman. The suspected murder took place at a residence situated in New Hanover County.
Upon arrival at the dwelling on Whitewood Way, located in Castle Hayne, on the 24th of July, law enforcement personnel discovered Nuebeck deceased, with injuries consistent with blunt-force trauma believed to be the cause. A warrant for Snow’s arrest was subsequently issued; however, he had already departed the region.
Through investigative procedures, authorities managed to pinpoint Mr. Snow’s current location in South Carolina. He was eventually stopped while operating a vehicle in Georgetown County. This led to his apprehension, after which he was transported to a local detention facility. Preparations are underway for his transfer back to North Carolina, where formal charges of murder are expected to be filed against him.
