BOSTON POLICE CONFIRM IDENTIFICATION OF INDIVIDUAL KILLED IN NEAR RUTHVEN STREET SHOOTING INCIDENT

The authorities in Boston have released the identity of the individual who lost his life following a shooting that occurred Thursday evening. The deceased is identified as Teo Vernice, a 21-year-old resident of Hyde Park.

According to reports from Boston law enforcement, the fatal shooting took place in the vicinity of 163 Ruthven Street, which lies along the boundary between Dorchester and Roxbury. Emergency medical services were dispatched around 10:01 p.m. following the initial complaint about the shooting.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered Teo Vernice outside the reported location with signs of a gunshot wound. Paramedics provided emergency care before transporting him to a regional hospital. Despite the medical intervention, the young man did not survive his injuries.

Preliminary findings from the ongoing investigation indicate that the incident might have started inside a motor vehicle before the suspect vehicle crashed. However, the official narrative is still under review by the homicide investigation team.
