The employee of the Oakland County road commission, who died as a result of being hit by a vehicle while at work, has been identified via a WXYZ-TV report.
Family members confirmed the deceased as Cedric Jones, 43, a crew member on the road commission staff, who died at the accident scene. The crash took place Wednesday, July 23, on Orchard Lake Road, located between 10 Mile and 11 Mile roads in Farmington Hills.
