Noel Soto dies in fatal Swatara Township car crash

Fatal Swatara Township car crash death of Noel Soto

According to the Dauphin County Coroner’s Office, the individual killed in the accident has been identified as 37-year-old Noel Soto from Derry Township. Soto was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The fatal collision between a motorcycle and a refuse truck took place at the junction of Witmer Drive and Paxton Street/Route 322 in Swatara Township early Wednesday morning. The motorcyclist, identified as Soto, is confirmed dead.

This accident was declared an unintentional event by the coroner. The truck operator was transported for examination to the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Following the incident, authorities closed the westbound direction of Route 322 for a period to conduct their investigation.
