Fatal South Bend shooting death of 25-year-old Donovan Russell
South Bend authorities report a man has died following a reported shooting incident that occurred late Tuesday morning in the vicinity of Sheridan Plaza, located south of the airport. Responding officers discovered the individual, identified as Russell, suffering from serious gunshot wounds and pronounced him deceased at the scene. The deceased person is known to be Russell, a 25-year-old resident. Scheduled for examination is an autopsy for Russell tomorrow in Kalamazoo. The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit has taken charge of investigating this homicide case. At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
