Fatal Dartmouth car crash death of Kevin Dos Santos Lopes and Amilton De Pina Semedo
The Bristol County District Attorney’s office has officially identified the two young males who lost their lives in the incident on Interstate 195 in Dartmouth that happened on Saturday. It was revealed that Kevin Dos Santos Lopes, who is nineteen years of age and from New Bedford, and Amilton De Pina Semedo, eighteen years old and originally from Pawtucket, RI, were pronounced deceased upon their arrival at the hospital while still in serious condition.
The accident transpired approximately at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday close to Exit 19 along Reed Road. According to information released by the DA’s office, there are no indications that this collision was unlawful at this time. Nevertheless, Mass. State Police are continuing to probe the matter.
Due to the accident, the westbound center and right travel lanes on the highway were closed for a period to provide access for the responding authorities.
