Fatal Allen County car crash death of David F. Hart
The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased man who passed away following an incident involving a Citilink bus near the intersection of Illinois and Hillegas roads on July 24th.
The identified man, David F. Hart, who was 71 years old, succumbed to injuries caused by blunt force trauma. The county coroner has officially classified this death as an accident.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, the accident occurred approximately at 10:30 a.m. The available information indicates that Mr. Hart disembarked the bus at a designated stop, lost his footing, and stumbled underneath the vehicle as the Citilink bus began to depart. His body was discovered in this position.
He was transported to a nearby hospital in a critical condition, but he unfortunately passed away the following day, as confirmed by the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
