Fatal Pickens County car crash death of Jorge Garcia-Morales
Tragically, on Wednesday night, a man lost his life following a collision in Simpsonville, South Carolina. According to the Pickens County coroner’s office, emergency dispatchers received a call around 9:20 PM concerning a pedestrian incident near 1513 Fairview Road.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found an individual who had been killed by a vehicle. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the pedestrian was crossing north on Fairview Road when they were struck by a 2013 Toyota sedan. Fortunately, the operator of the vehicle involved was not hurt.
The authorities have confirmed the identity of the deceased as Jorge Garcia-Morales. The official ruling from the coroner classifies this death as accidental.
