Fatal Seekonk car crash death of Abriana Herrera Perez
State troopers responded to a multi-vehicle accident on I-195 West on Sunday night. The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. and involved three vehicles. According to troopers from the State Police Dartmouth Barracks, the highway, specifically in the Town of Seekonk, was the scene of the collision.
Tragically, eighteen-year-old Abriana Herrera Perez from Providence, a female, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Five other individuals involved in the collision were taken to a nearby hospital due to their injuries. Authorities reported that all three lanes of I-195 West were temporarily closed while they handled the situation and cleared the wreckage. State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section experts and Bristol County Detectives were dispatched to investigate the incident.
