The incident occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 31st, at the intersection of 40th Avenue South and 14th Street South. This collision resulted in the instantaneous loss of the child’s life. The City of Moorhead has confirmed that one of its trucks was involved, though the Minnesota State Patrol is now spearheading the investigation. The driver of the truck at the time of the accident was identified as a 64-year-old man from West Fargo.
