Law enforcement was dispatched early Saturday morning to the Cameron Avenue area following a gunfire incident. When officers arrived, they discovered the three individuals outside the residence. Emergency medical services confirmed that all three had been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial reports from authorities suggested that a social gathering was underway at the location before the violence erupted. However, the exact circumstances that led to the shooting have yet to be determined. Police have not made any arrests and continue to investigate the incident.
The Winston-Salem Police Department will hold a press conference on August 4th to provide an update on the case.
