According to Forest Park police, a man lost his life Saturday after being shot and found within a vehicle that had crashed. The fatal incident occurred in Forest Park.
Forest Park police were called to the area surrounding Smiley Avenue and Hitchcock Drive after receiving a report that a car had crashed at approximately 4:29 a.m. Saturday morning.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a man slumped in the driver’s seat of the damaged vehicle. The man exhibited a clear gunshot wound and was unresponsive at the time of their arrival. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.
On Monday, the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office officially identified the deceased as 43-year-old Taijuan Johnson. The official cause of death as recorded in the coroner’s report was stated as “probable homicide.”
Police have not yet released any further details regarding the fatal shooting that led to Johnson’s death or the specific location where it happened. No information has been made public about suspects in connection with this incident.
