Emergency responders were dispatched to a residence on North Cleo Avenue in the early hours of Saturday morning after a disturbing incident was reported in the rear yard. Upon their arrival, they discovered a 70-year-old man, Carl Johnson, who was rushed to a nearby medical center but unfortunately did not survive.

According to law enforcement, the victim was there to examine items for an upcoming outdoor market event. However, the situation took a tragic turn when a confrontation erupted. Police confirmed that the suspect, Stewart Coleman, a 46-year-old man, had fled the scene before being apprehended nearby.

Coleman, during his interview with authorities, mentioned the presence of a firearm which was subsequently secured by investigators. The probe revealed that the two individuals had been previously connected through family ties, though their personal relationship was not clearly outlined. The argument that ensued escalated quickly, resulting in the fatal wound.
