An individual involved in a severe one-car accident on road 102 in Washington County on Wednesday evening has been identified by local law enforcement.

Officials from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office indicated the collision occurred near the area of Chalker Road.

A female was taken into custody on Tuesday following accusations that she shot two individuals the previous week, reported authorities.

This 25-year-old named Shakira Singleton was involved in the alleged shooting incident.

According to reports from the Georgia State Patrol, at the time 9:37 PM, they were dispatched to the single-vehicle crash close to Chalker Road.

Investigation findings by the troopers revealed that a westbound vehicle veered off its lane and left the roadway, subsequently flipping over and causing the driver to be ejected.

The victim, identified as Kenneth Brad Crook, who was 41 years old and from Sandersville, passed away at the scene due to the injuries sustained.

Law enforcement has made an arrest concerning a pedestrian collision that led to the death of a two-year-old girl in the Allen Homes neighborhood.

Sheriff’s office personnel stated that when emergency responders, rescue teams, and medical services arrived at the crash location, the situation was already under control.

The Georgia State Patrol is currently examining the incident according to the sheriff’s office statement.
