A significant shooting incident occurring last Saturday evening in the Park Heights neighborhood of Baltimore has left the community seeking clarification. One individual, Jerome Michael Coateson, a 38-year-old man, has been confirmed deceased, with five additional individuals sustaining injuries during the event.
Law enforcement personnel discovered Coateson in the vicinity of Spaulding and Queensbury avenues, bearing injuries caused by gunfire. He was subsequently taken to a hospital and pronounced dead the following day.
In addition to Coateson, five others were affected by the gunfire. Among the injured are a five-year-old girl, a 23-year-old female, three males aged 32, 33, and 52. According to police, the child suffered a hand wound and is projected to make a full recovery. The other survivors are also anticipated to recover.
At this time, authorities have not identified any suspects and are actively examining the incident. A monetary incentive of $8,000 is being offered to the public for any information that could assist in resolving the case.
