Fatal Beloit car crash death of Leroy Helminiak
According to the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office, the agency revealed on Tuesday that Leroy Helminiak, aged 37, passed away due to the injuries he incurred during the accident.
Officials confirmed Helminiak’s death was declared at a nearby hospital on Saturday, August 9. They finished their official examination on the same day.
The incident was reported around 1:50 a.m. on Saturday at the junction of Pleasant Street and White Avenue.
Beloit Police informed that an officer observed a damaged motorcycle at the location. The other car involved, a blue 1998 GMC Jimmy, departed the scene before police arrived.
Investigators found the GMC vehicle subsequently, which was set aside as it was unattended.
