He was heading in the eastern direction when his vehicle departed the main road. The semi-truck then traversed a drainage ditch and a small waterway before finally stopping within a field of maize. Medical assistance was delivered to the scene, transporting Rozeboom to a healthcare facility called Mercy Hospital in Valley City. Despite receiving treatment for the harm he sustained, Dirk Rozeboom ultimately passed away.
