Fatal Aurora car crash death of Harvey Davis
The Aurora Police Department is actively seeking the individual responsible for a deadly hit-and-run that occurred in late August.
According to reports, the incident transpired on the 9th of August at the intersection of Dayton Street and East 12th Avenue. Police indicated that a vehicle involved in the collision fled the scene.
A person alerted to Aurora911 informed dispatch that one of the automobiles had departed. Officers arrived at approximately 6:15 p.m. and discovered a motorcyclist suffering severe injuries. The injured individual was transported to a hospital, where they unfortunately passed away three days later. The authorities identified the deceased as Harvey Davis, a 65-year-old resident.
The damaged vehicle was located nearby and subsequently secured by the police. The Aurora Police Department is asking anyone with information about the 2003 Subaru Forester to reach out to the Traffic Investigations Unit or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
