Lester Goldsmith dies in fatal Horry County shooting
Lester Goldsmith, a 41-year-old man, died as a result of the fatal Horry County shooting.
Officials from the coroner’s office have confirmed the identity of the individual who was killed during a shooting incident that occurred outside a bar in Conway. Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard indicated that Lester Goldsmith, who was 41 years old, died following hospital treatment after he was shot while employed at Rascals Bar.
Conway Police Division personnel arrived at the scene shortly before 10 p.m. on Friday, responding to notifications about gunfire in the vicinity of 1221 16th Avenue. This location corresponds to the Rascal’s Bar & Grill according to online databases.
Law enforcement has apprehended three individuals to date who are connected to the shooting incident.
