Fatal St. Louis hit-and-run death of Tori Dunn
Investigators are actively seeking the driver involved in a fatal Saturday morning collision in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, emergency dispatchers were alerted around 1:15 a.m. after receiving reports of a driver who struck a pedestrian and then departed the scene.
Upon arrival, police discovered that a woman had been struck by a vehicle traveling north. Emergency Medical Services transported her to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Tori Dunn, a 20-year-old female, was identified as the victim.
Subsequently, authorities located the suspect vehicle, an Infinity QX70, abandoned nearby in the 3700 block of North Grand Boulevard. Eyewitnesses reported the suspect fleeing on foot from the parked car, which was attended at a nearby gas station.
The individual of interest is described as a Black man with a slender physique, a full beard, and unkempt hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black T-shirt featuring a prominent white and red emblem resembling a deer skull, black shorts, white socks, and black, white, and red Nike sneakers.
