A Nevada State Police report confirms that William Rance Bill, a 22-year-old from St. George, Utah, was the driver in a fatal I-15 collision several miles outside Mesquite, Nevada. The fatal incident occurred late last month.

Nevada State Police officials stated that the fatal accident happened before dawn on July 31. The crash involved a 2022 Kia Forte sedan traveling southbound on I-15. According to the police report, the Kia driver failed to yield to a stationary Isuzu NPR-HD cone truck located in a construction zone. The construction vehicle was properly equipped with warning devices.

William Rance Bill was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Kia Forte vehicle was transported to a hospital for treatment, though the passenger’s condition was not disclosed by authorities.
