Investigators from Prince George’s County urge the public for assistance regarding a collision where a person was killed. A photograph of the vehicle they are looking for was released on Tuesday.
On Friday evening around 8 p.m., officers were dispatched to Shell Street and Billings Avenue due to a traffic incident. They discovered a man, who was later confirmed to be 45-year-old Dameian Wilson from Capitol Heights, sadly deceased on the road.
Preliminary findings from investigators suggest Wilson was operating his electric bicycle along Shell Street in a northwest direction when he was unfortunately struck by another motor vehicle at the Billings Avenue crossing. The driver involved immediately departed the scene without alerting anyone.
The authorities are seeking information about a specific vehicle. They suspect the truck is a blue Ford F-150 Super Crew model manufactured between 2001 and 2003, exhibiting noticeable front-end damage. A picture showing this suspect truck is available.
