Daniel L. Northrup Dies in Fatal New York Car Crash
Daniel L. Northrup, a 40-year-old resident of Auburn, has died following a serious truck accident. State Police identified the driver involved in the fatal New York State Thruway incident that occurred on the morning of August 13.
According to law enforcement reports, officers were dispatched to the scene shortly before 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday. They found a tractor-trailer vehicle crashed in the westbound section of Interstate 90. Troopers detailed that Mr. Northrup, who was driving alone in the truck, had lost control of the vehicle. His truck reportedly crossed the median, drifted off the road, and collided with the guardrail along the shoulder before rolling over onto its side.
Emergency medical services were immediately dispatched to the location, but they pronounced Mr. Northrup dead at the scene of the accident.
