Demone Devaux dies in fatal Anderson shooting
Fatal Anderson shooting death of full name of deceased victim Demone Devaux
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office identified 36-year-old Demone Devaux as the man who died one week after being discovered shot. According to the coroner’s report, emergency dispatchers received a call on the evening of August 10th regarding a shooting incident on North Main Street. A single individual was located injured in the street and transported to the local medical facility, where they unfortunately passed away approximately four hours later. The official ruling on cause of death was determined to be homicide by the authorities.
The coroner indicated the incident appears to be a standalone event and does not currently pose a public safety threat. Both the Anderson County Coroner’s Office and the local law enforcement agency are continuing their ongoing investigation into the matter.
