Iran Jermeal Hedrington, a 19-year-old, died as a result of a fatal shooting incident in Merced on Monday.
Mr. Hedrington met his demise in a violent incident in Merced on Monday.
Merced authorities confirmed that an altercation between multiple individuals and the victim resulted in the fatal shooting event occurring around 9:00 PM.
The incident transpired in an alleyway situated near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 18th Street.
Investigators are currently pursuing several suspects who are believed to be involved and are still at large.
