Fatal New Hampshire car crash death of Joseph Casper

New Hampshire law enforcement officials reported the death of Joseph Casper, a man from South Boston, as a direct result of a serious traffic incident on the Frederick E. Everett Turnpike. The accident involved multiple vehicles and occurred on Monday afternoon.

State troopers issued a statement on Tuesday, detailing the events of the collision. Candice Maple, a 17-year-old from Dunstable, Massachusetts, was operating a white Audi Q5 when it collided with a Lexus ES driven by Casper. According to the police account, the impact from this crash then caused a gray Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck to overturn.

Casper was transported to a nearby hospital but was declared dead upon arrival. The other individuals involved, Candice Maple and the Dodge Ram driver Brian Roberts, sustained minor injuries. Maple was hospitalized for further assessment, while Roberts was treated on the scene and did not require hospitalization.

The State Police are continuing to probe this incident to determine its full scope. They have asked for public assistance and are encouraging anyone with information to contact Trooper Mark Lingerman at the specified email address for more details.
