Fatal South Boston car crash death of Joseph Casper

New Hampshire’s State Police have confirmed the death of a man from South Boston, who passed away as a result of a three-vehicle collision along the Frederick E. Everett Turnpike, occurring on Monday.

According to information received by troopers around 2:48 p.m., a multi-car incident was reported on the northbound section of the highway, specifically in the area near the 7E exit.

Investigations indicate that a white Audi Q5, being driven by Candice Maple, who is seventeen years old and from Dunstable, Massachusetts, was traveling northbound at the time of the accident. This vehicle subsequently collided with a Lexus ES, which was being operated by Joseph Casper, aged eighty-five and from South Boston.

Following the initial impact, the Lexus ES then made contact with a gray Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. State Police reported that this pickup truck then overturned onto its side.

Joseph Casper, who was involved in the final collision, was transported to a local medical facility. Regrettably, he was pronounced deceased upon arrival at the hospital.

Both Candice Maple and the operator of the Dodge Ram, identified as Brian Roberts, who is fifty years old and from Churchill, Tennessee, escaped the accident with only minor injuries. Candice Maple required hospitalization, whereas Brian Roberts did not need to be admitted for treatment.

The authorities have indicated that this accident is currently under investigation. They are appealing to the public for any information that might assist in understanding the events leading up to the crash.
