The Tremonton-Garland Police Department has identified the two officers killed during a recent encounter as Sergeant Lee Sorensen, aged fifty-six, and Officer Eric Estrada, aged thirty-one.
Both individuals were part of the responding team dispatched to a domestic disturbance report on the seventeenth of August.
During this response, the suspect left the residence and initiated the gunfire, which proved fatal to both officers.
