Law enforcement agencies in Huntsville confirmed a deadly shooting took place on Torrance Drive, in close proximity to Medland Road, at the start of the night on Monday. Sources from the police department stated the incident unfolded at 9:30 p.m.
Emergency crews arrived promptly at the scene and discovered the victim, who was identified as Shaquon Lashay Moore, a 30-year-old individual. He was found to have sustained serious gunshot injuries and was declared dead at the location by medical professionals.
Reports indicate a significant police force was deployed in the area surrounding Torrance Drive and Medland Road, suggesting the situation required a high level of security. During the process of securing the scene, officers learned that a nearby apartment building had also been targeted by gunfire.
