Montgomery County law enforcement and fire rescue units were dispatched to the location of Frederick Road and Ridge Road at around 7:35 a.m. following reports of an incident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
Inquiries conducted by the police indicate that 34-year-old Branden Corey Williams was crossing the street on foot, just south of Ridge Road on Frederick Road, when he was hit by the driver of a black 2022 Toyota Corolla travelling along Frederick Road towards the south. Emergency medical services pronounced Williams dead at the scene before any further treatment could be administered. The individual driving the Toyota Corolla was present at the scene after the occurrence.
