Fatal Hampton, Neb. car crash death of Adrian Washington
A preliminary investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual killed in a serious collision on Interstate 80 earlier this week. Officials stated that 25-year-old Adrian Washington was involved in the incident.
According to the initial probe, Mr. Washington was driving too quickly on I-80 when he lost control of his car. The vehicle then left the road and rolled multiple times in a field located to the south of the highway. Eyewitness accounts and multiple emergency dispatches reported that the driver was thrown from the car during the accident.
The Hampton Fire Department and the Aurora Fire and Ambulance service quickly arrived at the scene following the reports. Medical personnel took Mr. Washington to Aurora Medical Center, but he was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Sheriff Jeromy McCoy and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office conveyed their sympathies to the family of the deceased. They also thanked those who called emergency services and provided initial aid to Mr. Washington before the arrival of professional medical responders.
