Fatal Falls City shooting death of Jaliyah Compton
The county prosecutor has officially identified the two individuals who passed away in a tragic incident that occurred in Falls City on Wednesday, August 20th. These individuals are from Richardson County.
It is understood that Adam Lewis was responsible for the death of Jaliyah Compton before he ultimately took his own life using a firearm. Both people involved were originally from Pawnee City and had a child together.
Prior to the incident, Jaliyah Compton was staying with a friend in Falls City. An autopsy examination is currently underway for both victims. According to the Falls City Police Department, there was no danger posed to the community after the shooting took place.
A local news station reports that both parties had previously sought protective orders against each other in July, but these requests were turned down by the court.
