Fatal Talladega County Car Crash Death of Demetrius Pope
A man by the name of Demetrius Pope lost his life in a serious car accident. This occurred late on Saturday evening in Talladega County, Alabama. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Mr. Pope, who was 51 years old, died because his vehicle, a Toyota Camry, crashed head-on into another car, a Dodge Caravan. This collision took place just before nine thirty p.m.
Officials at the scene confirmed that Mr. Pope was pronounced dead on arrival. The driver of the Dodge Caravan involved in the crash was airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham for medical treatment.
The accident happened on Alabama 21, specifically near the 225-mile marker. This location is roughly three miles south of the city of Talladega. Law enforcement, specifically the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, is currently looking into the cause of this fatal crash.
