Deputies with the Mississippi Highway Patrol arrived at the accident scene shortly after the break of dawn on the morning of August 31. The collision transpired around 5:00 AM on the 31st of August along U.S. Highway 61, close to Duncan in Bolivar County.
De’Anthony Brown, who is 22 years old and from Alligator, Mississippi, was operating a 2018 Dodge Charger heading north at the time. This vehicle then made contact with Edward M. Triplett, who was 34 and from Clarksdale, Mississippi.
Emergency responders took Triplett to a regional medical facility, but his condition deteriorated to the point where medical staff confirmed he had passed away later on.
De’Anthony Brown was not reported to have suffered any harm, as stated by the Highway Patrol. Currently, the Mississippi Highway Patrol is examining the circumstances surrounding this event.
