Fatal Trumann car crash death of Jennie Horton
Arkansas State Police confirmed Thursday that a single car accident on Highway 141 resulted in one fatality. The individual killed in the incident was identified as Jennie Horton, a 46-year-old resident of Trumann.
According to Corporal Aaron Morphis of the Arkansas State Police, the incident occurred Wednesday evening. Horton, who was driving her 2011 Chevy Malibu, was proceeding southbound on Highway 141 near Lake Frierson State Park. The vehicle departed the roadway and collided with a tree, subsequently rolling multiple times before coming to rest.
This fatal accident is currently being investigated by Arkansas State Police authorities.
