Jeremy Morehart dies in fatal Bidwell, Ohio car crash
Fatal car crash death of Jeremy Morehart
On Saturday evening, Gallia County authorities confirmed a tragic motor vehicle accident took a Bidwell resident’s life, with officials providing the details.
The individual in question was 35-year-old Jeremy Morehart, who tragically succumbed to his injuries at the crash location, as detailed in a formal statement from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred roughly at 8 p.m., with preliminary findings from investigators indicating that Morehart was steering his automobile south along State Route 850 when it abruptly departed the pavement on the eastern side.
Following this initial mishap, he attempted a hasty adjustment, which resulted in the vehicle straying completely across the path and exiting the road on the western edge.
The automobile subsequently impacted a signage and descended into a depression, triggering a violent overturn. Due to the absence of a seatbelt, Morehart was forcefully ejected from the car, and the wreckage continued, colliding with yet another marker.
Ohio State Highway Patrol personnel noted that the route was temporarily closed for a duration of two hours and thirty minutes to facilitate a comprehensive initial examination.
