Fatal Millvale shooting death of Jane Doe
Cincinnati police authorities reported one fatality following a shooting incident in Millvale. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Sunday at the 2000 block of Millvale Court.
According to a Cincinnati police sergeant, officers discovered a female individual with a head wound caused by a gunshot. Medical personnel on the scene confirmed her death.
Law enforcement officials mentioned the presence of a cooperative witness, but did not disclose any details about a suspect at that time.
The motive or circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently unknown. However, the Criminal Investigation Section has initiated a probe into the matter.
This event marks the second shooting-related fatality in Cincinnati within a span of less than 12 hours. Earlier that day in the Mount Washington neighborhood, another shooting resulted in two deaths and injuries requiring hospitalization.
