Identifications have been made regarding the individuals involved in the Sunday night fatal shooting at the Solomon Homes complex in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. One person, Aquon Tillman, has been confirmed as the deceased. However, the individual responsible for firing the fatal shots remains undisclosed by the authorities.

The Cambria County District Attorney’s office is currently examining the incident to determine if the shooting was justified as an act of self-defense or defense of others. An official statement from the District Attorney, Greg Neugebauer, and the Coroner, Jeff Lees, confirmed that no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

Emergency services were dispatched following a report received around 7 p.m. on Sunday. The 911 call indicated that shots had been fired in the vicinity of buildings 14 and 15 at Solomon Homes, a public housing facility operated by the Johnstown Housing Authority.

When Aquon Tillman arrived at the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, the medical team began emergency treatment. Tragically, he was pronounced dead later that evening while receiving care in the operating room. Autopsy results, as stated in the official press release, indicated that Tillman sustained multiple gunshot wounds and that these injuries were the direct cause of his death.
