Fatal Siloam Springs shooting death of Emmanuel Tucker
Official documents were submitted Tuesday, detailing the homicide that occurred in Siloam Springs earlier in the week.
On August 29th, the Siloam Springs Police Department (SSPD) declared it had initiated an investigation following reports of a man being killed by gunfire in the vicinity of Meadow Court. This location is situated directly opposite Siloam Springs Intermediate School.
Police have officially confirmed the identity of the deceased as Emmanuel Tucker.
Late on the same evening, the SSPD stated that two individuals were taken into custody. The first suspect is nineteen-year-old Braylon Farris, a resident of Fayetteville. The second suspect is an underage male whose name was previously withheld, but court records filed on the second of September have revealed him to be fifteen-year-old Kyle McIntyre.
Benton County Prosecutor Josh Robinson announced that McIntyre is facing criminal charges as an adult for capital murder. The accusations further include charges of capital murder, filing a fraudulent police report, terroristic threats, and tampering with evidence against Braylon Farris, who is currently held on a one-million-dollar bond.
The legal papers further state that McIntyre, potentially in collaboration with other individuals, either carried out or attempted to carry out an aggravated robbery at the time of the fatal shooting.
Although the incident occurred across the street from the school, the Siloam Springs Police Department confirmed that the educational institutions themselves were not implicated in the event.
A representative from the school district issued a statement, assuring the community that the schools were not involved in this tragic occurrence.
