STEFHANY RECONCO-ROSALES DIES IN FATAL NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE CAR CRASH
A fatal car crash involving a driver who fled the scene occurred in Northwest Miami-Dade.
Fatal car crash death of STEFHANY RECONCO-ROSALES
Law enforcement officials announced today that a driver faces charges following a fatal collision in the Northwest Miami-Dade area over the weekend. According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old EDWIN ALBERTO SERRANO surrendered to authorities after detectives connected his vehicle to the fatal accident reported near Northwest 32nd Avenue and 35th Street.
Serrano is formally accused of causing the death of 26-year-old STEFHANY RECONCO-ROSALES and then failing to stop. The incident happened on Sunday, and Serrano is said to have not provided assistance.
Reconco-Rosales was airlifted by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue services to a regional hospital. Despite intensive medical efforts, she was declared deceased upon arrival.
This particular incident is reported by authorities as one of two separate hit-and-run fatalities that transpired within Miami-Dade County over the recent weekend.
