Albert Stroman Jr. Dies in Fatal North Augusta Car Crash

The fatal North Augusta car crash left one man dead Saturday night, sending shockwaves through the community and sparking concerns about road safety. This tragedy occurred shortly after another Orangeburg County SC-6 crash, which resulted in one death and raised alarms about the rising number of traffic fatalities in the region. Officials from the Aiken County Coroner’s Office confirmed the deceased as Albert Stroman Jr., a 45-year-old man. The incident happened when his vehicle left the I-520 highway at the I-20 interchange, collided with a guardrail, and he was partially ejected.

The North Augusta Public Safety team, including the Traffic Division, moved swiftly to the crash site. Authorities reported that Stroman was declared dead at the scene. His female passenger, however, emerged from the accident unharmed, avoiding any serious injuries.
