Fatal Allentown car crash death of Isaiah Ewell
Officials have confirmed the identity of the 25-year-old male who lost his life on Saturday morning in a traffic incident in Allentown.
Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio reported that Isaiah Ewell, a resident of Allentown, passed away as a result of his automobile colliding with a utility pole around 6 a.m. near the intersection of Union Boulevard and Quebec Street.
According to city police reports, Ewell was driving westbound in the western part of Union Boulevard when his vehicle departed the roadway and struck the pole. He was the sole person inside the car and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The coroner determined that Ewell’s cause of death was multiple blunt-force injuries, with the official classification designated as an accident.
Police have indicated that the circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under examination.
