Joshua Hogde dies in fatal Ashe County, N.C. car crash.
A 21-year-old man named Joshua Hogde passed away early Saturday morning. His death resulted from a serious traffic accident.
According to information received from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Joshua Hogde was driving eastbound on NC Highway 88, close to the area near Elliot Road, at approximately 2:30 a.m. that day. He then lost control of his vehicle.
The car crossed into the opposite lane, left the main road’s surface, and collided with a ditch. Joshua Hogde was transported to Ashe Memorial Hospital via emergency services due to his severe injuries.
An initial investigation by the Highway Patrol indicated that both impairment and excessive speed were likely contributing factors in this incident. Following the accident, NC Highway 88 was temporarily closed in the affected area while officials conducted their examination.
