ST. GEORGE, S.C. (WCIV) — Authorities in Dorchester County have confirmed the identity of the man involved in a serious highway accident over the weekend.
David Brian Casey, a 69-year-old man from Gloversville, New York, was pronounced deceased following the incident. According to the county coroner’s report, Casey’s car was hit from behind early on the morning of September 27th. The collision took place on I-95, approximately at mile marker 78. Emergency Medical Services personnel transported Casey to a nearby hospital. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office are currently examining the circumstances of this fatal accident.
